I started in 1982 as a Valdez Maintenance Tech. Once MS limited my mobility I transferred to OCC as a Controller. Later in my career I moved back to my roots as a Maintenance Planner. I retired after 20 yrs in 2002.
I was directed involved in the Exxon Valdez oil spill. The Exxon Baton Rouge was anchored along side the Exxon Valdez at Bligh Reef. Harold Brouhard and I connected the piping from the Exxon Valdez to pump the remaining oil from the stricken tanker.
Right after that I was assigned by Chuck O'Donnel to work with Tim Plummer to set up an oil spill response system on the town side of Valdez. This would make me the first Alyeska employee to work which became SERVS.

I still live in Valdez in our home on Blueberry Hill for 6 months of the year close to our son; Sheldon, with his wife Amber, and our two grandchildren.



We designed and built an earth friendly, solar home, 8 miles south of Florence, AZ, where we spend our winters. It is close to our son; Jacob with his wife, Connie, and our 3 grandchildren.

I spend most my time 4 wheeling, swimming in my endless pool, and trying to out do Fidelity managing my portfolio.
