Jane A Thomas

Jane Ann Thomas of Gold Hill, Oregon passed away on December 19, 2018 at her home with her husband, Mike, by her side. Jane was born on April 4, 1951 in Dallas Center, Iowa to Jack and Jean Thomas. She was raised on a farm east of Dallas Center.
Following college Jane lived and worked in Alaska for over 20 years. After retirement Jane and her husband settled in Oregon. She was an avid gardener and thus became a Master Gardener. She also loved traveling with her sister and brother-in-law.
Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Wayne Thomas. She is survived by her husband, her parents of Mt View, Missouri, two sisters Shirley Petersen (Gary) of Pinehurst, North Carolina and Linda Farrow (Alan) of Mesa, Arizona.
A memorial service will be held in Mt. View, Missouri at a later date.

I met Jane in Valdez when she came down for a health fair at the VTO. She was so pleasant and positive and yes, she had a great smile. I am sorry to hear she passed, and way too young. My warm thoughts to her family.
