Ronald Sencibaugh

Ronald Dale Sencibaugh, Sr.

In Loving Memory of Ronald Sencibaugh Sr.

Ronald Sencibaugh Sr. passed away from natural causes at his son's home in Valdez, Alaska, on Nov. 12, 2021, at the age of 78.

Ronald was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend to many. He will be missed.

Ronald was born in rural Missouri in 1943 to James and Wilma Sencibaugh. As a child, Ronald enjoyed life in the country hunting and fishing as often as he could. As he got older, his adventurous spirit led him to Alaska, first in the military then later during pipeline construction.

He fell in love with all Alaska had to offer, settling his family in Valdez in the early 1970s. After retiring from Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, Ronald settled with his wife Ronda in Copper Center, Alaska.

He touched the lives of countless people with his friendly manner and community spirit. Many will remember him fondly as a volunteer youth sports coach, fireman, National Guardsman and member of Civil Defense.

Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Ronda; and eldest son, Ronald Jr. He is survived by his children: Sondra, Nathan, Adam and Ronda. Ronald's ashes were spread alongside his wife's and son's in a small ceremony at his ancestral property in Missouri.
