Russell “Bud” Wood passed away on August 23rd at home surrounded by his family. He was 85 years old.

Bud was born in upstate New York on September 20th 1937. His character was shaped by experiences from growing up on a farm.

Bud joined the Air Force at the age of 17. He worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor and retired from the Air Force, as a Master Sergeant, after 23 years of service. He worked for the Alyeska Pipeline Service for 19 years, where he spent most of his time at Pump Station 4.

Bud loved fishing and Ford vehicles. He enjoyed sharing stories and reliving memories of fishing trips, and the vehicles he owned. While these were his passions, he loved nothing more than his family.

Bud is survived by his wife Mary Ann; his three children- Bill Wood, Jim Wood, Kathy Brownlee; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
