Roderick Pugh

Rodernick Macon Pugh
January 10, 1939 - September 7, 2026

 

Roderick (Rod) M. Pugh was born in Crosby, Mississippi on January 10, 1939, to Jennie (Wallace) and Clifton M Pugh. He grew up in Eight Mile, Alabama.

Rod served in the Army for 2 yrs. His working career started at the International Papermill as an Electrician. He worked in many foreign countries, including Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Jamaica. Rod was a start-up engineer at Trans Alaska Pipeline for several Pump Stations. His last job was in Valdez, AK, working for Alyeska Pipeline Company.

Rod enjoyed fishing and hunting and being outside. He was active with the Shriners and he was always ready to help with woodworking projects.

Rod is survived by his wife and the children from his first marriage Randall Pugh, Peggy Pugh, and George Pugh. He was predeceased by his son, Roderick Pugh Jr.

He will be missed by his many friends and family.
