Where do I start?
I'm not sure I can do ur memory justice.
We met 30 years ago in Anchorage. You were  handsome, tall  with great taste.  I remember you in your black shark skin boots (polished to a T), black dress pants, tweed sports jacket, leather gloves and wool scarf. 

Irish, well educated, a writer, world traveler, whiskey drinking, cat loving,  one heck of a chef, who loved Alaska. 

You had many different sides but loved the Lord  which that and a few other "reasons" won you the nickname Preacher. 

You loved eating cantaloupe lol (inside joke!)

You were always introducing me to new things. I learned so much from you. You always knew the best places to dine, what to order and the right wine to pair it with. 
You were romantic,  taking me on carriage rides in downtown Anchorage, to a 4 day camping trip out at paradise lake. 
You could drink yards of beer and were certified as an Irish whiskey taster after correctly identifying 22 different brands in a blind tasting in Dublin. 
I salute your knowledge!!
You loved the Raiders (silly man!) 

Most of all, Guy, you had a big heart!
Although our paths never fully connected we held each close for many years and shared a timeless love. 

I Miss you more than words can express! 
Your craziness and stupid jokes / sense of humor irritated me at times but mostly put a smile on my face.  

Slan leat my Guy.... till we meet again!
