Dale Centofanti

We are saddened to inform you that Alyeska retiree Dale Centofanti passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 in Anchorage.

Dale touched many lives throughout his career working on and for TAPS. He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 367 of Anchorage and welded on many pipeline projects from construction days on. He also worked as a welding inspector for TAPS prior to joining Alyeska in 1997 as a Terminal mechanical maintenance technician. While working for Alyeska,

Dale wore many hats; he was a welder, a pressure safety valve technician and a crane inspector. He retired from Alyeska in 2014.

Dale was also known by his nicknames of “Cento” and “Center Punch” as well as for his calm, easygoing attitude and his ability to work well with others. His pride in his work showed throughout his career.

At Dale’s family’s request, no memorial services are planned.
