Welding Supervisor - Section 2- 1975 thru 1977
Worked closely with John Wormali after the weld falsification issues.
Transferred to Fairbanks and worked with Bill Tignor and Chuck Brashears.
Developed the first NDT procedures to allow for internal use Ultrasonic Examination of welds in critical areas (river crossings) to avoid digging up buried sections for reexaminations.
Worked to establish and qualify an ultrasonic team to perform UT examinations.

1988 - 1991 Established Thorpe Technical Services as a contractor to Alyeska to discover corrosion on the system using various techniques.

1998-2015 CEO/Owner - Advanced Material Solutions, Inc (AMS).
During this time the following systems were designed and operated for production system:
Taser International; Resonance and Ultrasonic for mini gas cylinder pressure for various TASERS.
USMC/Navy/Army; Production examination of Ceramic/Kevlar protection plates for field vest.
Kailo Pharma; designed and built several systems for medical equipment test and qualification.
USA Picatinney Arsenal: Developed Phased Array examinations for 60mm and 81mm Mortar Shells
TRW/Autoliv: Production examination of automotive airbag inflators. 4 million inflators per year.
Sold and retired in 2015. Now resting on Siltcoos Lake, Dune City Oregon in the Summer and Goodyear Arizona in the winters.
