What's happened since?:
I worked at the American Petroleum Institute, Washington DC, as a Senior Policy Advisor, October 2005 to retirement May 2020. My wife Catherine and I have accepted invitations to mission-supported faculty positions at Uganda Christian University, Mukono, Uganda, beginning April 2021. At UCU, I will serving at both the Law and Business Schools, where I will apply my 40-year career in energy and resources to help refine UCU’s teaching of resource development and environmental law, developing and teaching from case studies that will examine contemporary development issues in a rigorous and holistic way to prepare UCU graduates for leadership roles in the global economy. My wife Catherine will write grant proposals and provide administrative support for UCU's John Sentamu Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, which was established to increase the number of students studying disciplines in human rights, and in humanitarian law. We expect to serve at UCU for from 3 to 5 years.
